The All Events Hurriyat Convention (APHC) has known as as disturbing the demand for dying penalty to Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Entrance (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik.
Terming it a deliberate try to impress and intimidate the residents of the Union Territory, APHC chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq issued an announcement on Sunday.
“The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) in search of the dying penalty for Yasin Malik is deeply disturbing for the folks of J&Okay… Sadly, one after the opposite, such directives and decrees are introduced in by the authorities — who declare peace and improvement is their agenda — which appear a deliberate try to impress and intimidate folks and add to their considerations and fears,” the assertion stated.
The NIA has demanded dying penalty for Malik in a petition filed earlier than the Delhi Excessive Court docket, difficult the life sentence given to him in a terror funding case.
