Bengal governor targets election commissioner on ‘poll violence’ — ‘don’t underestimate power of common man’

Kolkata: Two days earlier than the West Bengal panchayat polls, Governor Dr C.V. ‘Menace of violence’

The Trinamool Congress Monday had complained to the SEC in opposition to Bose, alleging that he was operating a “parallel administration” within the state.

Bose had, however, returned Sinha’s becoming a member of file after the SEC skipped a number of conferences scheduled with him at Raj Bhavan.

The Governor Wednesday shaped a Peace and Social Integration Committee headed by former Chief Justice of Calcutta Excessive Courtroom Subhro Kamal Mukherjee.
